Summary:

Airline: British Airways
Aircraft: A320
Seat maps:  British Airways | SeatGuru
Seat Info: Seat 4C
Class: Club Europe

Seat(s): What’s to say about a typical economy seat? Well, because this one is in British Airways Club World class aboard an A320 it’s got some extra legroom. At least more than in the ultra cramped, higher-numbered economy rows. Seatmap site SeatGuru claims the seats in this row have extra width, but we didn’t see any significant

difference when compared to others in this cabin.

Tech/Connectivity/Entertainment: The most connnected, tech-friendly seats are in the cockpit. The rest of us get to watch shared screens placed every few rows. On this flight it was just the moving map and flight info.

Food: Little finger sandwiches were tasty but I really had no way to

decipher what was between the bread. Without a menu to refer to all I can say is that they taste like little _____ salad sandwiches.

The packaged desert brownie made for a good late night snack at my hotel hours later.

Service: At the gate, you’ll get to board early. On board, our flight attendants simply met expectations with the expected pleasantries of a short haul premium cabin. Hot towel? Check. (very) Light meal? Check. Smiles? Check.

Rating: 3 hops (of 5). 4C aboard this British Airways A319 is an average European Business Class seat.

Route Flown for this review: London Heathrow (LHR) – Frankfurt (FRA)

How we got em’: This British Airways upgrade was a small sliver of a OneWorld award itinerary using US Airways Dividend Miles. The gang at PointsPros found a great  all-first class trip using a handful of  miles to North Asia (via Europe).
