Seating: If the front desk hadn’t pointed out that a full English breakfast was offered on the upper level of this SkyTeam Alliance Lounge at London Heathrow, we would have walked right by the stairs. Luckily we
marched right up and found more good seating than on the near carbon copy lower floor.
On both levels you’ll find loaf-style loungers along the window and assorted seating elsewhere from cafe to retro in both wide open and more secluded areas. Semi-private nap rooms with day beds and a dark TV lounge area are extras only found on the upper level.
Food/Drink: Both floors have large buffet areas but on this visit, the more robust offering was on the second level. Along with the cold cuts, fruit, yogurt and pastry offerings found downstairs, a full English breakfast was offered with eggs, bacon, beans and other British morning staples.
Premium passengers of SkyTeam Alliance member airlines that skipped their bland pre-arrival eggs will be happy to find the food (at least breakfast) is tastier than most in-air omelette-like inventions. We found overall food quality here to be good.

Wi-fi/Connectivity: Wi-fi did fine here with no lags when testing short streaming video and is more than sufficient for normal business use.
Power outlets weren’t as easy to find as we would have liked. Most are near seats closer to the far walls of the lounge.
Service: Front desk agents were a very stern sort of friendly giving us a routine greeting that included an offer for us (and all flying premium SkyTeam Alliance premium cabins) that included a free facial treatment in the adjacent Clarins Spa. Inside, staff dutifully kept both buffets well stocked but were obviously concerned with our taking pictures so we dialed back our obviousness and won’t hold it against them. Our intention is never to upset the natural balance of the environment we’re reviewing…and with all the plant life lining the walls, we were dealing with a delicate ecosystem here.
Showers: Shower rooms are sufficient but certainly not
Über-luxurious. All are equipped with a roomy shower, toilet and sink/vanity area. Just grab a towel from the cabinets when you enter the clinical feeling Clarins spa and walk back to one of 5 private rooms.
Summary: Impressed with the English Breakfast spread and size of the lounge bump this SkyTeam Alliance Lounge into acceptable territory. Service was routine and didn’t exceed the norm but the spaces were clean buffet always restocked. Seating was plentiful on our morning visit offering up different styles and sections to choose from from power outlet free spin-chairs to filthy but powered bench seating near one of many rain-forest walls.
