Hardly our typical travel review this “Spring” room at Craftsman Inn Calistoga, CA has us loving time away from airport noise. It’s not a technical “upgrade” so this review finds it’s home at your YouTube Channel.
The Room: The “Spring” room at Craftsman Inn Calistoga, CA (Napa) is a cozy one. A small but comfortable sleeping area is complete with it’s queen bed, sitting area and small table. Nothing more than you need but if it’s nice outside, you wont need much more. Your private patio has a couch, large center table and chairs and is great space for your own wine party.
Washroom: The washroom is a second star of this room. The vintage decor doesn’t mean you’re without some modern amenities. A full jacuzzi spa tub looks a little out of place (the space is better suited for an old-school claw foot tub) but can be your escape after a day of long vineyard tours, napa hikes or wine hunting.
Amenities: The L’Occitane amenities are ones that you’ll want to keep. If not the tiny shampoo, the full-sized bar soap is certainly worth stuffing in your bag. A nice added perk for your Napa escape.
Service: The hosts are great and show pride in the work they’ve done in bringing this old building back to life as an Inn. Breakfast is served at a large table in the dining area adjacent a large, comfortable main living area.
Wi-fi/Connectivity: Wi-fi is complimentary throughout the inn with a code provided by the host at check-in.
Overall: It’s not our typical review so this true vacation spot feels a ton more comfortable than any airport hotel. Great hosts, cozy and comfortable rooms and a good, hearty breakfast make for a great stay in Napa.

Geez. You could see the grout peeling around the tub, complete with mildew. Not a place that I’d want to shower in. That’s a FAIL in my world.
