Important gear still sitting back at the modhop Travel Cave in NYC meant there’s no video from our visit to The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, so we’ve got pics. The upgrade is to a deluxe room on the 11th floor of the hotel, recently remodeled and reopened the week of our visit, so we’re one of the first to get inside one of these updated gems…

It’s a true California King, I guess. Plus a small couch to complete the sitting area.

Desk in Deluxe Room. — Your own classy power desk! You’re the boss behind this full-sized desk built for business.

Sitting area in Deluxe room. — There’s no smoking in the room but this looks like the right spot for a cigar.

Big door in Hollywood Roosevelt Deluxe Room — Not far past your normal door is this kingdom-style door coming into the main room. You’ll never hear housekeeping coming.

Hollywood Roosevelt Bed - Deluxe Room — You’ve got comfy pillows and Judy Garland to watch over you while you sleep.

Lounge arouond like a true Hollywood player in this luxurious bathrobe.

Hollywood Roosevelt Deluxe Room Closet — It’s a hallway to nowhere but has a small closet where you’ll find a small safe, iron and a place to hang your stuff.
