We took a quick trip to Seoul to sample a bunch of airlines and ended up discovering the newly remodeled (as of late 2013) Hotel Shin Shin. Take a look as we stroll into the attached restaurant “Dine Hall” and into our room upgrade, a “Superior Room” with double bed and a fantastic view of what will one day be “Hotel M”, but for now is noisy construction. Take a look!

A comfortable King sized bed comes with mid-range quality linens. This style room is also available with 2 twin beds.
It’s a massive desk area but sitting in the chair for very long can be rough.
No plugscrimination! Ports for plugs of all nations at Hotel Shin Shin.
Jet lag might have you up late so there’s a nice-sized TV for insomnia channel flipping.
We were bummed to find that it’s a “bring your own” operation but there’s hot water for whatever coffee or tea you find at the nearby 7-11.
Only the purest drink of them all. Cocktails be damned, the water is free at Hotel Shin Shin.
The washroom isn’t hard to find, just hop out of bed and take a few steps. Don’t worry, the toilet has it’s own separate room.
The washroom is tiny but functional. The water-heated floors are neat.
It took me an embarrassingly long time to figure it all out. Luckily “flush” is the most obvious (the blue button).
The bath and sink are out in the open but the toilet gets it own space.
Coming soon, “Hotel M”. Until then, “klank-klank-bbzzzzzz-clank-yell -bzzzclank”.
It’s not the whole buffet, but almost. Breakfast at Dine Hall of Hotel Shin Shin, Seoul.
