I just had an epiphany after reading about a fellow flyer’s disappointment after finding that simple snack basket service was the only offering in first class aboard his multi-hour international flight. Empathy mixed with sparks in my head to come up with a solution…
Snack Basket Recipes.
Here’s the starter recipe I posted to his Facebook page:
Delta Peanut & Banana Sandwich
Ingredients:
1 Banana
1 Packet Biscoff Cookies
2 packets Lightly Salted Peanuts
Directions
Crush peanuts. Sprinkle peanut crumbs on Biscoff cookie. Slice banana with plastic knife. Place 3 sliced banana pieces onto same biscoff cookie and cover with second biscoff. Boom..Sandwich.
Peanut Butter Crunch Pot Pie (submitted by Modhop user G. Montrose)
2 single Reeses Peanut Butter Cups
3-6 Kettle-Cooked Potato Chips
Hollow out just the very center of the peanut butter cup (don’t take out ALL the peanut butter and leave the very bottom so it remains a proper cup). Crumble potato chips or crush lightly. Use safety card (or something more sanitary) to funnel crumbs into center of peanut butter cup. Sweet and savory meal.

I already used it for the sandwich, but thank for the suggestion.

Grab honey from the lounge. Mix it with peanuts into a plastic cup and then add a diced/chopped/cut banana.
