It took a little over a month to decide which pictures were worthy of a modhop gallery (the bar is pretty low). In our search we found a few pics from our visit to last month’s (March 2014) New York Times Travel Show that we can make useful by adding helpful links to video reviews, resources that can assist in picking the right airline and a few random snaps just to prove we were there.

A convention hall full of travel stuff. Sounds like our kind of cloudy afternoon fun.
Amex card holders with a same-day boarding pass can access the Centurion Lounge. Day passes are available at the lounge.
This one is fake, but the American Express Centurion Lounge is open in Dallas and Las Vegas and expanding to more airports.
A must-stop is at my hometown airline. Sun Country Airlines is based in Minneapolis/St. Paul and gives good upgrade.
From personal suites to on-board showers the real Emirates A380 is mighty indulgent. Check out the google maps walk-through.
I don’t remember seeing this guy (gal?) on my recent South Korea trek, but was a real crowd-pleaser here in NYC.
The Schmaglev is the worlds fastest train and if this crew has their way, it’ll be in our future travel plans. A campaign to bring a version of the train to the Northeast Corridor of the US.

The booth representative was less than talkative but was kind enough to stand there while I snapped a pic of his toy plane. Check out our review of seats inside the real thing.
