You’ll soon see new United Airlines First Class seating aboard the airlines domestic narrowbody fleet beginning late 2016. Upgrades and new features include:

– Real granite cocktail tables.
– Articulating seat bottoms.
– Tray tables with built-in tablet holders.
– Adjustable headrests.
– Power outlets

[foogallery id=”9074″] Planes will get new carpet and galley floors as the cabins are updated so until they’re broken-in, you should get a nicely refreshed experience. Speaking of being “refreshed”, the smell of spilled coffee and heavy foot traffic will be masked by a new aromatherapy experience as Boarding Area partner TravelSkills explains in their full coverage of the changes that includes initial rollout info.

Granite tables? Why? Wouldn’t that add to the weight?

nice looking seats. Not sure if granite is necessary, doesnt seem to fit the united brand. On a positive, glad united could finally get caught up with everyone else.

As a flight attendant for United express, Im very happy to see we are continuing to grow and give a better product for the business traveller. As we all know, international carriers sort of put the american carriers to shame with their business class and premium economy sections. I think its about time we start matching and exceeding the leading carriers products.

Also I love this website, I’ve been hooked on it for years now! Great blog man
