There’s never been any buzz about this Asiana Airlines Business Class amenity kit, so we didn’t approach this expecting to pull out a goose down eyemask and bars of edible gold. What we expected was about what we found with a few balancing plusses and minuses.
Happy Ears: The earplugs are the standard mass-production type that we’ve found to be fairly reliable for blocking out light conversation and other basic low to mid*volume in-flight noises.
Strap on: That the eyemask is a little flimsy is secondary to its method of strapping to your head. The single velcro strap makes wrapping it around your head easy and adjusts to the size of your head. Light may seep in through the top of the mask and it’s a little flimsy so you may still want to bring one from home.
Brushing up: You get a full size toothbrush but a miniature tube of toothpaste. If this were a 4 hour flight, okay. On an 11+ hour trek, puhlease.

Serums and towelettes: L’Occitane products make up the best of the more useful included toiletries. In the kit you’ll find lotions and a refreshing towelette.
Comb?: Combs are for Uncle Rico.
It’s hard to be over or too underwhelmed here but Asiana could certainly add something to give this kit more personality or at least jazz up the bag a little. As-is, it’s a functional freebie with minimal premium cabin swagger.
