As if flying weren’t stressful enough right now, THE LAST thing you want to see is a shirtless man trying to open the exit door. Well that’s what happened aboard a Spirit Airlines flight from Cleveland to Los Angeles earlier this week. Flight attendants and passengers rushed to restrain the man getting him to the back row after a struggle. The pilots diverted the flight to Denver to have the man removed before continuing to LA.
Passenger video has surfaced that’s got audio of the initial altercation but it’s unclear WHY the man wanted out.
If it’s been awhile since we’ve gotten to enjoy a first class meal. British Airways wants to change THAT. The airline is teaming up with it’s caterer Do & Co and FEASTBOX to offer a limited run meal-prep kit mirroring options available in their first class cabins. Bad news for those of us on this side of the Atlantic, delivery is only available within the UK. Prices are a bit steep anyway at 80 to 100 pounds (100 pounds is roughly 135-140 dollars) BUT come with a 10% coupon that you can use toward a flight on British Airways… to maybe offset some of that.
If you’re a holdout there’s new incentive to get vaccinated for Covid 19.
FIRST, Free doughnuts. Krispy Kreme is offering a free original glazed donut when you present your CDC issued vaccination card. It’s limited to one per customer per day (throughout 2021) so I’m thinking they’ll hope you buy a few more to go… THEN there’s Staples. The office supply superstore chain says they’ll LAMINATE your card for free until May 1.
And if you’re lucky enough to live in Michigan’s Oakland County, vaccinated and are 21 or older, you’re eligible for a free, rolled JOINT as part of their “POT FOR SHOTS” program.
