1) Boating

Boating is a great way to enjoy the sights and sounds of the beach. Whether you’re taking out a kayak, sailing boat or motorboat, getting out on the water can provide an incredible experience. Depending on where you are, there may also be opportunities for fishing and whale watching. If boating isn’t your thing, then perhaps consider stand-up paddle boarding as another option for exploring the area from the water!

In addition, you may want to consider taking a boat tour with a local guide if you’re looking for an educational experience. Boat tours can provide insight into the history of the area, as well as any unique wildlife that inhabits the water.

There are many companies offering tours of the area, which can provide insight into the culture and history of where you are. Alternatively, you could take a self-guided tour and explore at your own pace. Also, don’t forget about the local food! Many beach towns offer an array of delicious restaurants, so take a look around and find something that appeals to you.

Websites like Viator are a popular option for booking tours and experiences.

Jake still prefers sitting poolside at the hotel for beach vacation dining.
