United Airlines Business First Amenity Kit unBOX

This United Airlines Business First amenity kit has been around for a bit now (introduced late 2011)  so I wouldn’t be completely surprised if it’s gone tomorrow. We know it’s not our dream bag, filled with non-addictive sleeping pills and fluffy clouds… but let’s dig in anyway.

So many ways to be clean.

There’s no shortage of freshening towlettes here. A designer facial cleanse-wipe brings new life to your dehydrated, flight-worn face while a Purell wipe takes care of whatever organisms have found their way onto your hands via filthy tray tables and armrests.

Once you’re cleaned up, the Philosophy brand hand lotion and lip balm re-moisturize and amuse you with clever product titles like “Purity Made Simple” hand cream.

The kit also comes with a coupon for 20% off a purchase of $50 or more of Philosophy products.

Ew. What did you eat?

If you like what United fed you for dinner (or breakfast) it doesn’t mean you have to let small particles of your meal hang out in your mouth the whole flight. Dig deep with the “Plackers” individual flosser or brush up with the compact toothbrush and just-big-enough tube of Colgate toothpaste.

Is that a comb in your pockets?

This United Airlines Business First kit has more pockets than I’ve seen on other kits. I’m not sure how you’ll use this feature when you decide to keep the small bag for future use, but for now it nicely keeps it’s contents from rubbing up against each other. You won’t get Colgate on your earplugs.

How do I get it?

Fly Business First Class on a United long-haul flight or hang out on the landside of customs at Newark to see if a sleepy business traveler drops one on their way out
