Hey Jake, your intro says US Airways Express, but your title and your speech is on a Delta connections flight.

Ooops! Thanks for the heads-up Michael.

I have to agree that the ERJ-175 has better legroom also in economy . Compared to those ERJ-145 very cramp.. and feeling a bit tight in them… Good work Jake!!

Thanks George. We agree, there’s a world of difference between the ERJ-145 and ERJ-175.

Jake, I’m a little claustrophobic and, because of their tight configuration, have avoided regional jets for years. I’m considering giving them another try and am contemplating taking a 2-hour flight on a Delta Embraer 170 or 175. Aside from the seat reveiw, which was excellent, what is the overall feel of the cabin? I normally fly the Airbus A319/320 or the Boeing 737’s.

Gmoney – A Embraer 170/5 is a good step, I think. You’ll likely find that it feels a lot less cramped and a little more like a larger single aisle jet. At 2 hours it’s a good sample flight to see if you’re comfortable with it. Let us know how it goes!
