There’s news about Sun Country’s plan to become something resembling a Low Cost Airline AND British Airways getting you to the terminal faster. Plus, we chat with our work friend …
Our trip inside the British Airways Concorde Room Heathrow isn’t one for the ages, but a nice stop after a light-choppy transatlantic flight and before a squished-in intra Europe hop. See what we found inside…
Seating: There’s a decent variety of seating inside the Servisair Lounge at LHR, but when it’s crowded you’ll be uncomfortably close to someone you don’t know, not unlike the crowded terminal you just left. Whether you’ve settled into cafe seating or one of the small leather loungers, you’ll notice the size of the lounge doesn’t allow for good spacing. If you can manage to find a time of day when fewer folks are around, you should be able to section yourself off in the otherwise nicely arranged lounge.
Airline/Club Name: 4Deck Lounge (Independent)
Location: London Heathrow (LHR)
Terminal/Concourse: Terminal 4
**Lounge closed as of July 2011. Raw video posted for purposes of air travel geekery only.
